Calm...breezy...friday ...night

Hi everyone..after many unsuccessful, frustrating, hair-pulling tries, i m finally able to log in and make my official first post. I dont blog actually, the last time i blogged was a yr ago, n after i made my first post, i forgot all about my username, blog address, n stuff neccessary for making my second post! Thus, that's the end of my blogging career. However, I will start again for the sake of Ms Lena Wong. (provided i can carry on my blogging spirit.)

Back to today's activity, Lena, Karen, Raymond and I went to tiong bahru plaza to have Japanese Ramen. As there was a horde of people in the small restaurant, we were being placed in the smoking area...which in fact is this outdoor seating area.

When we set in the place, everyone fell into the mood of tranquillity. The place was lighted up with hari-raya liked coloured-bulbs..bamboo-liked plants swaying in the cool wind..70s liked fans sitting on some plattform or support..three glittering stars shining brightly above us..and we were just sitting there letting the cooling breeze caressed our face..listening to the different genres of songs..from upbeat-hiphop, to soulful-hearbreaking, to uncomprehensive Japanese songs..name it and you get it..So whoever wants a place with free songs and value meals to chill out, go to this ramen place.

Finally, the food arrived..Karen's food was like the most worth-the-money meal. And Raymond(R.W) seemed to be so fascinated by the flinstone-liked big portion..and he made a pact with this flinstone-liked meal to have it next time round. He, himself had quite a nice bowl of ramen as well, with a few blocks of ice in his cold, spicy ramen. He even had a small plate of soft wobbly duofu sprinkled with some greenies as side dish. Lena had her usual, chicken ramen with two chilli. Hers was quite a big portion too, with four or five, deep-fried tender chicken pieces.

I think everyone was energetic after having the hearty meal as everyone started to liven up and chat once the chopsticks was put down..We were discussing plans for the third day of new year, the last of our freedom day..debating over the stars..and how tough it is for karen to wake up in the dawn to go to work..how challenging it is for Lena to stay at home on a friday night. After the yummy meal, we just sat there and chatted till about 10..

Photos to be updated..please tune in as there will be one amazing shot taken by me..Guess whos the main character in these two shots?

So..here comes the end of our calm..breezy..friday..night.

Hey!!!! Thought that you guys are suppose to help me with this blog? Looks like I'm the one updating all the entries so far... Poor me!!!

Anyway, Cabrina, Norman, Raymond, Wai Theng and I went to Dragon Gate Restaurant for buffet Tim Sum... We didn't have a full attendance as poor Ban Hoe was unwell and our Sleeping Beauty, Karen has overselpt...

Nonetheless we enjoyed ourselves but perhaps not the food. Please don't me wrong as the Tim Sum was yummy and worth every penny as it only cost $12.80+++ Due to over-eating, especially Wai Theng, I guess we would'nt crave for Tim Sum for the next 3 months or so. All thanks to Norman's brilliant idea to play "zhong ji mi ma" to clear the balance food. Look at Wai Theng's plate of Tim Sum! Think she ate at least 10 Har-kau n Siew Mai, not to mention others... haha

Uncle's CLASSIC LOOK!!! Doesn't this photo remind you of the Night Safari photo??? hahaha

An Invitation To Indian Housewarming

wat an IT idiot that I consider myself as...

(Wanted to include the following comments as post to reply Wai Theng's post. Somehow, I can't. Hence, a new entry to reply her. (pengz)

Dear Wai Theng, Uncle Weng has the same comments and opinion as you. Capricorn indeed think alike. I do agree with you that nobody is in the position to justify who is right or wrong in love. But, anything that involves feelings is never rational. I used to believe that one must learn to control their feeling and emotion (mind over heart); as such, such feeling can't be considered as love. True love is one that doesn't expect anything in return and one will only follow their heart. The chances of getting "bruised and upset" is higher but ironically, the process can be rewarding too :) Though this friend of mine may seem to be niave and silly (haha), nonetheless, it is indeed his state of innocence and belief in love that makes him willing to be the girl's guardian angel. He never expects anything in return... It is his altruisic love that makes him appear as a fool again and again.

I believe that everyone will go through this altruisic experience someday...

A heartwrenching blog from a fallen anGel...

Upon reading my friend's blog, my emotion is stirred. Many of us would berate and chide this girl for her selfishness. What is your stand?

The story between them goes like this... My friend has an immeasurable infatuation for this girl, who is attached. Knowing that my friend like her, she has always manipulate my friend's care and concern to her advantage. (Bloody feel like slapping and skinning her alive) Whenever she feels lonely or sad, she will always turn to my friend but at the end of the day, she will ditch him to go back to her boyfriend's embrace.

Her selfishness has created a great emotional turmoil to my friend. I understand that I have no rights to justify her behaviour and I do agree the fact that anything that involves feelings is never rational. Nonetheless, it still doesn't give her the rights to hurt my friend, not once but upteen times. Though I always remind my friend to take it easy and to caste their memories aside, I totally understand that it's easier said than done. The process of recovering from the daunting hurt and forgetting that special one is harrowing. It takes a day to fall in love but a life to forget that special one...

Strangers... (A part from my friend's blog)
"I do not want to be stuck in the quagmire again. Hurt is becoming a feeling that is too often felt. Perhaps, all these hurt felt can condition myself to a faster route of recovery. How can you be a stranger to someone whom you care so much about? When the hurt felt don't make you hate her but make you feel that you asked for it? How can one suddenly not care anymore? How...? In fact, in our 3plus hour of msn conversation just now, we ended on such an amicable note, there were of course heartwrenching moments but there were also lighthearted and cheerful moments that made giving up so hard. You know, this is like the fourth time that this decision is taken, but never ever in the past did I tell her to be cruel. To not contact me in whatever form ever. To not reply to any forms of contact from me if I relapse. My heart has died. Not a single tinge of idealistic hope that we will be together exists anymore. A pity that it is not numb yet. The pain is like an old-time wound been bruised and bloodied again, adding salt onto the old wound and adding new ones. She never fail to increase my pain felt everytime she hurt me. Perhaps, the more pain felt each time also represents the deeper I sink.I told her I will always remember her as the little girl with a sweet blush, will only remember the angel in her and will never forget her. Its true, I have always managed to defend her actions towards me, her thoughts, her feelings, the situation she faces. I don't blame her, I don't hate her, I asked for it.I am moving on. Let this be the last time I said this. I am moving on. Don't renege on your decision again, even if she break up again with her bf, you two are just not meant to be, don't even bother thinking about any possibility of getting together with her in future. Don't ever be that dumb again. Its sinking in...we are going to be strangers."

dOnuTs doNutS DonUts!!!!

Together with Ban Hoe, Raymond and Wai Theng, we came out with this silly poem during our "ang moh" lesson in lalaland school.

Donuts! Donuts! Donuts!
It's cheap, filling and good.
Bite it into half; fragrant filling oozing out.
Lick it with your tongue and you will feel so fun!
Cut it into halves and you get two smiley faces.
We can find it in many countries, a all time favourite with the young and old.
Excellent with all kinds of beverages.
Tastes good when you eat it piping hot or freezing.
Comes in great varieties, good for all occasion.
Always look cool with a donut in your hand!
